Nike’s RTFKT Bids Farewell with a Final Avant-Garde Collection

RTFKT, Nike’s virtual fashion brand, is closing its doors after four years. For its final project, it is launching a collection of 3D-printed sneakers in collaboration with Zellerfeld.

Curtains for RTFKT

Nike has decided to close RTFKT, its virtual fashion and technology brand, due to the decline in interest in NFTs. RTFKT was known for its unique sneakers and NFTs, as well as its collaborations with trendsetters like Takashi Murakami and Byredo.

A Final Disruptive Collection

For its final collection, RTFKT has partnered with 3D printing company Zellerfeld to create the MNLTH X Blade collection. This collection includes six sneaker models with avant-garde designs, moving away from traditional Nike silhouettes. The collection is available on Zellerfeld’s website since January 16.
